| The Story of Stuff | ||
| Consumption...it is no accident we are obsessed with it, and the repercussions of it are disastrous for us all. That plastic wrapping you throw in the bin, created many times its weight in toxic garbage before it ever got to be wrapped around something you bought. The order of this is meaningful - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. | ||

| Who Killed the Electric Car? | ||
| An interesting documentary, firstly it mentions that a long time ago electric cars were common, and secondly it tells the story about the rise in electric cars in the nineties, and then their demise. | ||

| US Greenhouse rate increasing | ||
| Not only is the US increasing its global warming gas emissions, the rate at which they are going up is increasing as well. If our media reflected the world\'s best interests, this story would be front page for a month, require high level meetings, statements from world leaders, and an explanation from the US government. As I write this, the front page of CNN shows a media event featuring a smiling Bush making a surprise visit to Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan. How pleasing for Bush that the media so accurately reflects his perception of what is important in the world. | ||
